Eligibility is extended only to works fully produced by the exhibiting artist.  Artists’ Agents are not allowed.  NO ITEMS PURCHASED FOR RESALE AND NO ITEMS MADE FROM KITS ARE ELIGIBLE.  (ALSO, PIECES MADE FROM MASS PRODUCED PARTS ARE NOT ALLOWED.)   FOUND PARTS ASSEMBLED INTO ONE-OF-A-KIND STRUCTURES, HOWEVER, ARE ACCEPTABLE. Exhibition in previous festivals does not guarantee acceptance. However, award winners from last year will be accepted if application is received by the application deadline. Please provide professional quality slides or jpeg files on cd. The jurors will have only your images by which to make a determination, so it is important to supply quality images. The name of applicant and title of work should be printed in permanent ink (no press-on labels). Final acceptance will be made by a panel of five qualified jurors reviewing the slides submitted by each applicant.  Exhibitors will be asked to remove work not consistent with slides or generated by the artist.

NOTE:  HOT FOOD VENDORS ARE NOT ELIGIBLE, HOWEVER, PROCESSED and PACKAGED FOODS ARE ELIGIBLE, AS WELL AS ICE CREAM VENDORS.  All hot food vendors should apply to Cherry Blossom Festival  (478)-751-7429

Set-up  Saturday is 7:00am to 9:30am.  Breakdown is Sunday 5:00pm to 8:00pm. There is no set-up or break-down during show hours.  Exhibitors must furnish their own displays, must be present both days and must be responsible for sales.  Breakdown includes cleaning up debris incurred by your display.  A 12' wide by 10’ deep space will be provided. Electricity is available to food vendors only, for a charge of $25. The show goes on rain or shine. This is an outdoor show, each exhibitor should make arrangements for wind and rain.

All Sales & Taxes are handled by the exhibitor. Each exhibitor is responsible for collection of Georgia State Sales Tax in the amount of 7% of sales on all items sold. If you have a Georgia State Sales Tax remittance number and remit taxes regularly to the state, please enter that number in the appropriate space on your application. Otherwise, you will be furnished a form on Saturday morning at the festival which you will be responsible for mailing directly to the Georgia Department of Revenue along with your check or money order for taxes collected at the festival

General Information

¨   Check-in between 7:00am & 9:30am Saturday at MGAA information booth to pick up information packet.

¨       Parking is available in nearby parking lots. No parking allowed on sidewalks.  Vendors will be notified of parking options in their vendor packet.

¨   Security is furnished on Saturday night.   However, we are not responsible for loss or damage.

¨   During festival hours booths are not to be left unattended. MGAA members will be available to relieve exhibitors for a  short time. 

¨    The consumption of alcoholic beverages is prohibited.

The deadline for all applications is January 15, 2008.  Only applications properly completed and postmarked on or before the November 30, 2007 deadline will be considered in the initial jurying process.  Late entrants will be considered only as alternates and a late application fee of $20.00  will be charged.  Late fee is non-refundable and can be added to the application fee check for a total of $40.00 where applicable.
